The club's AGM is being held on 2nd September at
7:30pm. All members are welcome and should have received an email with
the meeting's location. If you haven't seen the email (which may have
been misdirected by software into your junk or deleted folders), please
contact a committee member who will tell you the venue.
Here's
the origin of the word Bungalow.
Cockney John, the building site foreman finds a bricklayer sitting down reading a newspaper.
John: "'ere 'ere 'ere, wot's all this? Why aren't you laying them bricks?
Brickie: "Well, it's like this, so it is. I've done the ground floor of that house, to be sure. It's all complete, but I've run out of bricks so I can't do the first floor. Even myself, who won the all Ireland hurling & bricklaying championships last year, can't lay bricks if there's none to lay"
Cockney John thinks for a minute, then says "I'll tell you wot we can do, me old china. We'll bung a low roof on it."

Committee members and others involved in the running of the club should
also read the documents accessed from the Committee page. The UK has
left the EU, but domestic legislation known as UK-GDPR replaces it.
There are very few differences between the EU and UK versions.
